I Will Never Forget

My parents and 50th wedding anniversary is coming up and I wanted to get them something special.  My dad has been a construction worker all his life and did his best to provide a good life for us.  My mother is a stay-at-home mom as long as I can remember.  She helped with all our school projects, bandaged our knees, and helped us grow up to be good people.  This year my siblings and I wanted to show our appreciation for all they had done for us. My dad always in a big fisherman and loves smoked salmon.  Every Sunday during the summers he would make a salmon for dinner. My mother on the other hand loves gourmet cheese and chocolate gifts.  She always made sure that we had a treat drawer to satisfy our sweet cravings.  I’m very blessed to be part of the family that I am.  The best place to find what you were going to get our parents with online.  Finally the day of the anniversary came; we invited guests into the house to give the presents.  Our parents were so surprised by the gift we got them.  Immediately they opened and shared it with all of us.  It was a night we’ll all remember.

Where To Go?

My wife and I have been planning our summer vacation.  We had been looking online to see if we could find the best deal to one of our favorite destinations.  We thought about going to New York found the New York Hotels were way expensive.  But since we live in Colorado we thought that Las Vegas would be a cheaper idea for us.  After looking at Las Vegas Hotels and found the same problem that we had with New York, it costs too much.  We decided to see if we could use one of those budget vacations sites to get a better deal on our summer vacation.  We looked all over and finally found a good deal with miami beach hotels.  The cost is half as much as trying to book directly with the hotels in those areas.  I’ve never been a believer of the different gimmicks that I’ve seen on TV.  But now I’m converted and amazed at what great prices I could go on vacation for.  I have always thought that by going to Miami it would be too expensive for my family. My kids have always wanted to go but we were unable to afford it.  But now that we found this great vacation me and my wife are our kids heroes!
